Self-clamping Grips with Two Eccentrics (5 KN)

1. Introduction:
It is used primarily for testing highly elastic, soft, elastic samples: plastics and elastomers, films, rubber, etc. with a tensile force of 5 kN.
Opening and closing is done manually, spring preload keeps the gripper open for specimen placement. The design of the gripper allows for automatic clamping as the tensile force increases – an advantage for specimens that narrow during testing.
